I have experience with several languages, though I&#8217;m most proficient with PHP in a commercial context. I am proficient with XHTML, CSS, Javascript and MySQL. I&#8217;m comfortable with the use of Ajax, JSON and XML, if required.<\/p>\n<p>I have had experience with everything from ecommerce and credit card gateway integrations to small custom applications and form handling applications. I have experience with the MooTools and jQuery Javascript frameworks and CodeIgniter and Kohana for PHP. I also have experience with the Subversion (SVN) source-control system for collaborative development.<\/p>\n<p>I have worked on a handful of Facebook applications, both FBML and IFrame based. I&#8217;ve done a few small WordPress themes and straight XHTML\/CSS builds from a designers Photoshop file. I&#8217;ve also done a full Real Estate Property management and listing application, complete with an administration site.<\/p>\n<p>From July &#8217;08 \u2013 October &#8217;08, I was contracted to work on a heavily Ajax driven Facebook application for a company called Where I&#8217;ve Been, LLC, in Chicago, IL.<\/p>\n<p>I worked for a small San Francisco, CA based company called Adapia doing both frontend and backend work for a couple of Facebook applications. I still receive small contracts from Adapia&#8217;s employees to do patch up work and take on small freelance jobs.<\/p>\n<p>I have done a couple of full site builds for Eleven Inc, a small web shop in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Most of these required small amounts of ASP.NET (VB.NET) and SQL Server development.<\/p>\n<p>I am currently working as a part time contract developer for Frontier Nursing Services, based in Hyden, KY. I am required to extend the functionality of some of their internal enterprise systems to integrate more closely with PowerCampus, an enterprise level online learning management system. This job requires large amounts of ASP (Classic), ASP.NET (C# and VB.NET) and SQL Server.<\/p>\n<p>I am also working small contracts with a local development company called WaveFade Media, LLC.<\/p>\n<h4>2006 \u2013 2008 (March) \u2013 Black Sheep Creative (Hamilton, New Zealand)<\/h4>\n<p>My responsibilities with Black Sheep Creative included everything from XHTML\/CSS template builds to full blown database driven application development, most notably a simple ecommerce system from scratch. I was also responsible for maintaining the in-house Linux server and managing our off-site email services.<\/p>\n<p>I built many sites from a designers visual in Photoshop.<\/p>\n<p>In my time with Black Sheep I became comfortable with Javascript (including Ajax), XML, MySQL, PHP, basic Photoshop skills and XHTML.<\/p>\n<h4>2003 \u2013 2006 \u2013 Freelancer (Hamilton, New Zealand)<\/h4>\n<p>Over this time I worked for many different people doing many things ranging from website development to basic IT jobs. I built several sites from a designers photoshop visual all while studying. I was invited to study with the Scholarship stream in my second year and finished in the top 15 for those classes.<\/p>\n<p>I went to high school in Te Puke, New Zealand. In my senior year I was first in Mathematics with Calculus, first in Chemistry and was given an award as the best student in Pure and Applied Mathematics.<\/p>\n<h3>Other Information<\/h3>\n<p>I am a competent musician and have played in several school bands, church bands and rock bands. I play several sports and made the starting team for just about every sport I&#8217;ve played, including Basketball, Volleyball, Rugby, Cricket and Touch rugby.<\/p>\n<p>Since moving to the US, I&#8217;ve taken up Tenpin Bowling and become quite proficient at that also, averaging 180 in my first two league seasons. This site required me to do some database and application design. I was commissioned to develop this site from a designers template in Photoshop and integrate it with an ecommerce solution from scratch. All work was done in PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and Javascript.<\/p>\n<h4>Outsauce! Marketing Ltd., New Zealand \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/outsauce.co.nz\">http:\/\/outsauce.co.nz<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>This site is a one page brochure site built from a designers Photoshop template. This site required XHTML, CSS and Javascript, including some simple Ajax.<\/p>\n<h4>Wobble, New Zealand \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/wobble.co.nz\">http:\/\/wobble.co.nz<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>This is an osCommerce installation that has been heavily customized. This installation required many modules to be installed as well as some simple CMS customizations and customizations to the catalog management system. All work was done in PHP, MySQL, XHTML and CSS.<\/p>\n<h4>Acupuncture of Indiana, IN, USA \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acupunctureofindiana.com\">http:\/\/acupunctureofindiana.com<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>This was a brochure site that required a simple WordPress blog installation to sit along side it. I wrote the WP theme after I had built the rest of the site and made sure the blog had the same look and feel as the rest of the site. This site required PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and Javascript.<\/p>\n<h4>Gladiator Real Estate Group, IN, USA \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/gogladiator.com\">http:\/\/gogladiator.com<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>This site is a custom property management site, complete with its own administration site. I had to redesign this site from the notes of a previous developer. I came up with a simple and flexible solution that allows the customer to manage many different types of properties from one administration site. This site required PHP, MySQL, XHTML and CSS.<\/p>\n<h4>Dive Anegada, Anegada, British Virgin Islands \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/diveanegada.com\">http:\/\/diveanegada.com<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>This site was a straight up XHTML\/CSS build. Coded completely by hand, this site took me a little over two days to build.<\/p>\n<h4>Kite Hero, FL, USA \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/kitehero.com\">http:\/\/kitehero.com<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>This site was another straight up build. It was actually a rebuild, since a previous developer had<br \/>\nalready done the site, but the client wasn&#8217;t happy with the result.
